  • 8-10 blanched and de-skinned almonds (badam)
  • 2 to 3 large ripe frozen bananas, peeled and cut into one inch chunks
  • 2 cups almond milk or whole milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups  ice-cubes
  • 2 large tbs semi sweet chocolate chips(optional)
  • Sweetened whipped cream(optional)


Banana Almond Milk Shake1. Mix all the main ingredients including almonds, banana pieces, and ½ cup of milk of your choice, cover and blend in a juicer till the mixture is smooth and foaming.

2. Add the sugar, remaining 1 ½ cup of milk, ice cubes and chocolate chips if necessary. Cover and process for another 30 seconds or until blended.

3. Pour equal quantities of the smoothie into 4 chilled glasses and garnish with whipped cream if you wish. Serve immediately.
